Shopping In And Around Bury

Bury Market

Famous for its blackpudding, we believe our award winning Bury Market is the best in Britain, But don’t just take our word for it, ask one of the 250,000 visitors every week why they choose Bury and they won’t be shy in telling you a thing or two.

The bustling busy market is the perfect place to hunt a bargain, unusual gift or some fantastic local produce. Bury Market is packed with a wide variety of stalls.

The market is also home to the renowned meat and fish hall and the produce on sale here helped Bury Market be crowned ‘BBC Best Food Market’ 2009. The hall is full of fresh local produce, local delicacies and the finest fish and meat – a perfect treat for your shopping basket and taste buds.

Throughout the year the market has a number of cookery events, demonstrations and special events taking place. Find out more about clicking on the event section or log on to
