Bury Adult Care Services has a dedicated Workforce Development Team to support the training needs of both our internal services, members of the Bury Adult Care Training Partnership and those working as a Personal Assistant.

We offer a varied and exciting programme of training opportunities to support employees with both personal and professional development.

Our current training programme / opportunites include:

  • Level 2 Foody Safety
  • Level 2 Health & Safety in Health & Social Care
  • Care & Control of Medicines Level 2 (Service Specific)
  • Principles of Good Care Planning & Records
  • Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Awareness
  • Diabetes Awareness
  • Blood Gluclose Monitoring
  • Effective Complaint Handling - Investigating & Resolving Complaints
  • Medication for Service Users with Dementia
  • ILM Management Programme
  • Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care
